What's special about IIM-A ?

We all know IIMs are considered the best business schools in India. But since I have friends and cousins who are students or alumni of IIM Ahmedabad, this answer is purely based on their personal experience.

• Faculty: The excellent faculty of IIM Ahmedabad is one of the biggest reasons that make it special. Once you get there, you’ll be nestled amidst great academics, professors, and management.You will clearly see how hard they work to maintain the level of excellence at the institution. It's no wonder that there are more than 17 people on the list of India’s top management thinkers who are/have been associated with IIM Ahmedabad.
• Administration: Despite being a governmental institution, the admin is not laggy and is quite efficient. All the departments work smoothly without any unwanted politics. You won’t face any hassle related to administrative work.
• Alumni: Being a part of IIM Ahmedabad you will realize how large an alumni network you have now. You will see corporate professionals at the most prestigious and renowned corporations, talking to you like a friend when they visit the institute. If you are willing to startup, you can get huge support from the alumni network.
• Students: And finally, the students. Yes, you will feel proud of being among some extremely talented, smart, hard-working, and humble people in IIM. If you want job insights, you can get help and learn from students having similar work experience. Don’t think you’ll meet just nerds, you will see many excelling in sports, dance, music, dramatics, and other activities too.
