What advice would you give to a fresher joining for an MBA in BM at XLRI?

A friend of mine was a student of XLRI, here is his advice for you.

• Firstly, be mentally prepared for the arduous schedule and cut-throat competition within the batchmates and yourself.
• As XLRI has no reservations, the crowd is highly competent. Around 80% of the students come from elite colleges like SRCC, IITs, BIT, NITs, and many IIM converts with high academic profiles. Therefore, the level of competition is top-notch, and there is no place to breathe.
• There would be night-long classes, countless committee events, and seminars on most of the days. You may feel sleep-deprived. But there will be parties too.
• There would be a Bodhi tree and many recreational activities throughout days and nights on campus organized by student bodies to keep you engaged.
• All these grinding activities will push you towards your development and earn the tag of XLRI.
• The SIP time is a little challenging. The students with strong academics or excellent CPI in XLRI can make it to the top recruiters. If your academics are not high, it's not an issue. Even the worst student at XLRI gets placed above INR 12 Lakhs package.
