In the 2021 placement drive, the average CTC offered to IIT Bombay CSE graduate is around INR 25 LPA. The highest CTC was INR 2.1 CPA. From the IT/Software sector, the average CTC offered was INR 27 LPA. Some of the top companies that visited IIT Bombay include BCG, Samsung, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc.

The average salary package of a CSE graduate from IIT Bombay is around 20 lakh per annum. Notably, the CSE branch is among the highest recruited branch each year with 100 percent placement rate.
