According to ISB Hyderabad cutoff trends, a GMAT score of 710 is a safe score. You should get a shortlist for an interview with your rank. Make sure you have a good profile as well. ISB looks for well-rounded candidate profiles. So, try to make your essays and LOR perfect. Rather than just the cutoff score, ISB focuses more on the overall student profile.

A friend of mine had the exact same score as you. Your admission depends on how well you can frame your profile. As far as the GMAT score is concerned, it will only consist of one component of your overall profile.

You will have to develop your essays, your letters of recommendation, your resume as well as how well you speak about your prior experience. All this matters much more than just your GMAT score.

My advice to you would be to write your essays with utmost sincerity and a lot of patience. Write them with due diligence and do not forget to mention all the highlights of your career so far and everything you would like to talk about it.

As far as ISB’s average score is concerned, it is around 705 to 706. Therefore, you definitely will have a good chance to get in. Although, you should ensure that the rest of your profile supports that kind of score. ISB is one of the few B schools that will judge you on the basis of your personality as well and not only on the basis of your academics.

Also, do not fake anything on your profile. You should definitely write things down with convection as there are high chances that you might be questioned on what you write in the interview. The majority of this process depends upon your essay and interview. Hope this helps. Cheers.
