DPMT mainly involves the manufacturing of moulds for structuring plastics. With the knowledge of mold designing, students will get an overview of the processing and necessary operations involved.

Difference:

• In DPT and DPMT, the only difference lies in the syllabus is the addition of tooling knowledge and design knowledge in DPMT. 
• The mould design in the DPMT syllabus also teaches 2D-3D designing of mold in the tool room which can help you to become a master of plastics.
