How is food in EFLU, Hyderabad?

My younger sister is studying at EFLU Hyderabad. She stays at the Akkamahadevi Hostel for girls. According to her experience of the food and mess is average, with some pros and cons. You may want to read the following points-

• Firstly, there's a lot of baking soda in the food. But this is the case with hostels and messes food in general, at all Indian educational institutions.
• There is a mess near the campus namely Baichand which is even worse. Compared to it the EFLU mess isn’t the worst.
• At the mess, you can choose the timing for the breakfast. This is one of the best thing.
• You can visit this cafeteria next to Sagar stores, called Maitri. They serve delicious meals at all times.

There are a lot of local vendors outside gate no. 2, where you can get a filling amount of dosa, idli, roti-sabzi, etc at reasonable prices.
