I am waitlisted 14 in IIM IPM Rohtak in the OBC category. Are there any chances of selection?
You have a fairly good chance of getting into IIM Rohtak. If seats are available, you will be notified of your selection. After the JEE mains, many students who were admitted to IIM Rohtak will choose to study at an NIT or IIT, which acts as an opportunity for you.

Seeing the pattern from last year, you will get in. But, let me tell you that the current conditions are a little out of the ordinary. These could affect your selection in two ways:
Positive conditions:
- When students are truly extraordinary, they are easily selected by IIM Indore so there is a good chance they won’t opt for this.
- The current times are pretty uncertain so it is possible that not everyone has the monetary funds to pay INR 30 lakhs.
Negative conditions:
- Many students could also be risk-averse so they might hold on to a confirmed seat.
Even after considering all this, your chances of selection are moderate. There still are chances for you to secure a seat.
