IIM Indore uses a holistic approach to select candidates for its courses. So there’s no minimum score in IPMAT that can guarantee a call. For final selection, the IPMAT score, past academic record, work experience (if any) and interview performance of a candidate are all given weightage.
Aim for the best results in IPMAT, but keep in mind that these scores won’t solely get you a seat into IIM Indore. The competition is quite high, so try to score as good as possible, and leave no stone unturned.
Instead of focusing on a particular score, make it your goal to perform your level best in the IPMAT. You can check the previous year IPMAT (overall and section-wise cutoffs) to get a basic idea of the minimum requirement.
Try to score above 150 in IPMAT, to get a shortlist. IIM Indore cutoff for IPM was 107 in 2021. A score of above 150, should be able to fetch you an interview call. For 2020 and 2019, the required cutoff were 114 and 122 respectively.
Naturally the required cutoff varies each year, depending on different factors.
IPMAT is a standard-level examination and since it varies from one year to another, it can be possibly difficult to evaluate the percentage or the score for admission.
In other words, the number of applications at IIM Indore is constantly hiking each passing year and is similarly becoming more difficult every year to acquire a seat into IPM.
However, it is best to prepare the subjects very thoroughly since the cut-offs depend on more than one factor. Besides, you must practice more than usual.
