What are the qualifications to get into NICMAR and the process to get into it?
In order to get admission to NICMAR, you need to have a graduation degree from a recognized university. The institute offers one year and two year full time PGP courses. NICMAR admission is based on marks obtained in NCAT. The shortlisted students are evaluated through GD-PI for final selection. Here is the breakup of the marks allocated for the different section of the selection process.

The basic qualification is that you should have a B. Tech or B. Arch degree. The selection process consists of two rounds written and interview. The scoring system (weightage) is –
- Written Test - 150 marks
- Interview - 50 marks
- Rating of application - 50 marks
For the entrance test, sections like Aptitude Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, and General Awareness questions will be there. Follow R S Agarwal to prepare for the written examination. It is more than sufficient.
The interviewer will generally ask you questions about yourself and some questions related to your favorite subjects training final project and about the work experience if you have any.
