What are some tips for scoring high marks in VTU?

The trick for scoring well in VTU is simple. You should choose 5 units and go through them thoroughly. Don’t skip any topics from these units. You can keep the last unit optional. Solve the previous 5 years' questions. However, don’t rely on these papers alone.

Take all three internals and don’t take the third internal lightly. It will prepare you for the external. Try to score well in practicals. In the examination, present your answer in an effective way.

I have a few friends studying at VTU and as per their experience, following are some tips to score well in the examination:

Both internal and external examinations are equally important to score. You should be dedicated enough to study hard for them.
Score well in internals as they will automatically increase your score. Externals are a bit difficult and you cannot get a perfect score.
Apart from study, the presentation of an answer is a very skillful attribute to have. It is important to write neatly while attempting the paper and elaborate the answers with proper bullets and diagrams.
Read the topics from the prescribed books only as it will increase your chances of getting good marks.
Attend the lectures carefully and take notes from your professors.
Write accordingly as per the word limit and marks associated with the answer.

Before taking admission to VTU think twice and you need to fulfill the expectations otherwise you need to spend a heavy amount.
