What do we have to prepare for the PYEC entrance exam in Mount Carmel College?

The entrance exam for PYEC at Mount Carmel is conducted by the communications department. The questions are usually from communication studies and media-related topics. 

• There will be questions on general knowledge and current affairs.
• Questions to test your grammar, spelling.
• The exam will test your comprehension ability.
• You may be asked to analyze a poem or prose.
• To test your writing skills, they can also ask you to write an essay. 

There will also be an interview. It is more of an get to know you conversation with teachers of the communication department. You can also be asked to take part in a group discussion.
