How to change IGNOU regional centre & study centre?

Here is how you change the Regional and Study Centres in IGNOU:

• Selecting Regional and Study Centre during Admission

• Students must select nearest Regional and Study Centre while taking admission
• Choice of centres should be convenient but must offer the interested course

• Changing Study Centre in IGNOU

• After admission, students receive a printed performa with programme guide
• Fill and send performa to Regional Director at current Regional Centre
• Ensure counselling facilities are available for course at new study centre
• Allocation of students depends on availability of seats at new study centre
• Study centre cannot be changed before admission confirmation or for courses with practical components

Changing Regional Centre in IGNOU

• Apply for change of Regional Centre by addressing request to current Regional Centre
• Obtain certificate from current study centre regarding submitted assignments
• Data will be transferred from current to new Regional Centre, including payment of fees
• No Objection Certificate needed for programmes with practical subjects
• Fee-share money required for transfer from Air Force/Navy/Army Regional Centre
