How is an MTech in power electronics and power systems at IIT Hyderabad?

Among the newly established IITs, IIT Hyderabad has been growing exponentially and has been ranked 9th by NIRF, one of the highest-ranking bodies. 

My friend was a part of the BTech in Power Electronics and Power Systems program and he enlightened me about the academic environment there. According to him, IIT Hyderabad is a great place for research enthusiasts

• Syllabus is updated and is at par with recent industry trends
• The placement scenario is decent
