How was your first day at IIT Bhubaneswar?

My friend shared his first-day experience at IIT Bhubaneswar on which he was called for registration and other formalities. The accommodation procedure took place wherein they were taken to their assigned hostels. My friend was assigned a room in the Mahanadi Hall of Residence. Girls were taken to the Subarnarekha Hall of Residence. The room was decently spacious with a wall cupboard, a locked cupboard, beds, a study table, and a chair. After unpacking and setting up his room, he left for the hostel mess to taste the food. Here is a photo of the hostel building that stands tall.

Next came the registration for which he had to go to the Community Center of the IIT. He received constant assistance from the CST Team. Once everyone had submitted their documents, the freshers sat on the College bus and were taken to the Lab Complex -LBC. Here the ERP formalities took place. 

The students were asked to visit the temporary market to get essential commodities like mattresses, buckets, mugs, etc. Once they were done with the shopping they started setting up their rooms. The day ended with a celebratory dinner with parents in the mess.
