Here are a few cons of joining NIT Silchar one must consider before marking the final decision

Reputation : There is a false notion that NIT Silchar is located in some disturbing region which is obviously untrue. The harmony between seniors and juniors here is unmatched so is the ambiance here.
Connectivity : Owing to its remote location NIT Silchar students face major connectivity issues. The duration of the train journey is around 50 hours.

Honestly, I don’t find any other major issues with the other except that it has become a victim of false allegations and rumors. So if you are planning to come here, you are welcome!
