What is the student life like at NIT Surathkal?

One of my cousins shared his experience of life at NIT Surathkal. Here are some highlights of his delightful experience.

• It’s not very difficult to maintain a good CGPA at NIT Surathkal provided that you attend the tests and exams regularly.
• Boys have almost no time restrictions and they can roam around the campus even late at night. 
• Your wingmates become your best friends. They become a group with whom you hang out, have lunch, study, and share your life problems with. 
• The mess food is hardly edible so most students eat at NC or Night Canteen beyond midnight. NC gets crowded during late-night football matches. 
• You can join clubs and connect with like-minded people. They provide the right platform to grow technically and socialize.
• Students visit the temple and also sit next to the beach for hours on the weekend enjoying the peaceful and serene view. This is a great stress buster from daily activities.

So, NIT Surathkal offers an excellent campus life which is a blend of both freedom and academics. You can enjoy the freedom and maintain a good GPA with minimal effort.
