What is it like to be in Manipal University?

Manipal University is a reputed university with NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation. NIRF 2020 and QS 2020 have ranked the institute 14 and 26 respectively, among the universities of India.

Faculty-

• The faculties are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching.

• There is a group of professors who are also part of the counseling team and they solve all sort of problems of the students irrespective of their departments and mentors to them

Extracurricular activities-

• The university organizes many events on the campus. Their motto is to create a sense of unity between the students irrespective of their diversity.

• The campus of Manipal has more than 30 student clubs like Eco Club, Drama club, etc. Based on personal choice, students choose their club and function according to the calendar of the club.

• The institute organizes NCC/NSS camps for the students.

Infrastructure-

Various sports equipment with proper instructors is available at the university. WiFi network, library, common room are some of the facilities provided to the students.

Placements-

Everything related to placements and internships is dealt with by the placement cell of the university. In the first month of the degree, the placement cell counsels each student individually and gives pre-placement training to them.

• More than 600 recruiters visited the campus during the placement drive last year.

• In 2019, the average package remained to be 5.3 lacs for most of the courses whereas the highest one was 56 lacs for every year.
