Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai conducts admission on the basis of the Central admission process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). ICT offers courses for engineering at the UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates are required to be national citizens of India with successful completion of 10+2 board examinations with science and maths for UG courses. Candidates belonging to the general category are required to score at least 50% in their boards while those belonging to scheduled castes or tribes are required to have at least 45% in their boards. Maharashtra candidates have special reservation provision as well.
For PG courses, students are required to be Indian Nationals and have completed a degree in any of the science fields. They are required to score a minimum 55% aggregate score from a recognized institute in India.
Admission Process:
The total seats available for UG courses are divided into two parts, i.e. 70% seats are reserved for Maharashtra candidates and 30% seats are reserved for All-India Candidates.
The selection for the 70% seats is done on the basis of the merit list of MHT CET. The rest 30% of seats are occupied by students who have appeared for JEE mains and secured a ranking within the cut-off.

Application Process:
Students can fill out the application form through online or offline modes.
They are required to give a registration fee of Rs 800 for the general category and Rs 600 for the reserved category through an online payment or demand draft to complete the application process.
After admission, students are required to submit their real transcripts of board certificates to the institute.
The application process usually starts around January and final admissions are declared by the month of June.
