BIT Sindri is very good in many ways be it infrastructure, campus life, hostels, or education. Few colleges have separate departmental buildings but BIT has a separate building for all its branches.

The reasons to choose BIT Sindri are as follows:

Reputation: BIT Sindri ranked 94 out of the top engineering colleges in India according to IIRF report 2023. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Vinoba Bhave University.
Infrastructure: BIT, Sind has world-class facilities that include multimedia auditoriums, seminar rooms, well-equipped modern laboratories, and a campus-wide network. The institute has around 80 laboratories for various courses and disciplines as well as 14 laboratories under the Unit of Excellence. Hostels are available for students.
Placements: During the 2023 BIT Sindri investments, more than 51 companies visited. The top BIT Sindri recruiters in 2023 were Adani Group, Air India, KPMG, DE Shaw Group, TCS - Digital, etc. According to the latest report, the highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 50 LPA and the average package was INR 7 LPA
Campus Life: BIT Sindri offers you a well-established library with enough books from various industries and some competitive books for GATE and CAT. The school has many clubs such as HNCC, IETE, LEO, MODEL, ISTE, ROTARACT, and others. These clubs are dedicated to various fields, from coding to art to social services. They provide a space for students to explore themselves and develop their skills. The college has a sports club that organizes cricket tournaments etc .

Hearing from the students of BIT Sindri, I am convinced that it is a good enough college, it was once among the top ranking engineering colleges in India. Though for some time it lost its touch but that was also for a short period of time. With the selection of a newly elected Director Prof. D.K. Singh, the college returned to its former glory.

We as students witnessed all the changes that took place in the 2 to 3 months period. The college gradually was growing and improving.

If you are a student who likes larger and luxurious fests and events, this may not be the college for you. The institute holds several literary contests such as debate, essay writing, extempore, etc. But it lacks in organising cultural fests for students.

Institute is located outside the city. Students have to go to the city for an outing, which is 2 hours away from campus. There are several rules imposed on first-year students. They are not allowed to roam around campus, and students have to use the back door of the premises to enter or leave.

First-year students have to share a room with five other roommates. It will not be convenient for someone who demands personal space. But the by-passing time you will become familiar with it. Seniors are quite helpful and interact with first-year students. However, the connection between senior and juniors cannot be seen in the starting months.

Therefore, if you are thinking of joining BIT Sindri then you must go for it. Along with good placement, it also provides a good environment for study. All the facilities, infrastructure of BIT Sindri are in good condition. So you will not regret joining it.
