The interview questions in ISB Hyderabad will revolve around your profile. Expect in-depth questions based on your CV, LORs, essays, etc. Some of the common questions that students get asked in ISB interviews are -
While preparing for the interview, go through your profile thoroughly. Have a clear idea of whatever you have mentioned in your CV.
I don’t think anyone knows what the “toughest” questions are, in absolute terms. Also, what may be tough for one person might not be tough for another.
Here are some useful insights for you about what my friends and I found tough during our interview:
The panel was quite well versed with whatever we had written in our CV as well as our application (essays, LORs, etc.) We thought the interviewers were given a condensed version of the candidate’s profile.
You will be thoroughly assessed along with the depth and breadth of your CV.
For example, if you have written about some social welfare activities in your application - they will ask you about the name of the slum, the locality you have worked in, etc., you have to remember everything that you have mentioned in your CV. Also, they will test you on logical skills, clarity of thought, and the ability to articulate well.
Questions asked at the time of your interview will be derived from the essays you have written and from your profile. They would also ask a few questions to examine your potential.
Make sure you do not fake yourself and write to the point answers in your essays. You should not get scared if any complicated questions are asked. If you have portrayed yourself with complete honesty there should be no problems.
Make sure that all your answers are to the point. It will be better if you seek assistance from a well-experienced consultant to prepare for your interviews as this will increase your confidence and enhance your preparation.
All you have to remember is that they are interviewing you to see if you are the right fit candidate for their upcoming class so make sure you prove your worth.
