XIMB

My relative is currently pursuing MBA in HR at XIMB. So, it won’t be wrong if we consider his experience while taking a decision for our future.

  • Try not to pursue HR specialization just for the sake of going for higher opportunities immediately after completing the master’s. Get to know more about the role of HR in an organization.
  • If you feel that you can excel in the role of an HR manager, only then go for it. This is a common mistake people commit and then end up hating themselves as soon as they start to work as HR managers.
  • Doing an MBA in HR without any experience might cause you a little trouble when it comes to understanding a few of those courses. Opportunities to get placed in good companies won’t have any effect.
  • In fact, there are a few companies which recruit only freshers as HR managers and also offer good salary. But if you can’t manage to get a job, then you need to take your decision judiciously.
  • Staying jobless for a lot of time would hamper your opportunities to a great extent.

In case you manage to get a job and are sure to prepare for CAT while working, then just go ahead with the job and appear for CAT next year. Most importantly, if you are not so effortless with English, HR would prove out to be a very risky sector for you.
