Is there any cut-off to apply to Ashoka University? What has been the lowest percentage (i.e. in the 12th Boards) of anyone who got into Ashoka University's UG Program?

Admissions at Ashoka University are based on Holistic principles and values held by the university. The students applying here for admission are evaluated by their engagement in academics as well as their involvement in co-curricular activities.

Ashoka University has no such cut off marks in general. Marks are not the only criteria required for admission. Rather they consider essays, marks obtained from personal interviews, etc. The university conducted aptitude tests, ECs for admission. The main eligibility for admission is students should have at least 70% - 90% in their 10+2. Ashoka University unlike other universities gives importance to not only academics but also achievements in co-curricular activities.

The admission is conducted in three stages which are as follows:

• Shortlisting - Here the students have to present their certificates of the board exams, Letter of Recommendation, Personal Essays, Extracurricular involvements.
• Assessment and Interview - This stage is divided into three parts. Here the students have to go through a 30-minute on the spot essay which evaluates critical thinking and clarity of thought. This is followed by a 90-minute aptitude test. This evaluates the logical reasoning and problem-solving skills of the student. And the last step is an interview with a panel.
• Decision - It depends on the student’s engagement in academics and extracurricular activities.
