Amongst DTU Software Engineering, DTU IT, NSIT ECE, NIT Delhi CSE, MNNIT Allahabad IT, NITK Surathkhal IT, which one should I choose, and why?

We can let go of DTU SE as we already have DTU IT here. NIT-D is nowhere in competition with the other institutions in the current scenario. Now, we are left with DTU IT, MNNIT IT, NIT Surathkal IT, and NSIT ECE.

Here’s a brief insight into the courses mentioned in the question. 

To be honest, ECE is a branch that is dying when compared to IT. Some time ago, ECE had better cut-offs than IT, but it is evident that a lot has been transformed since then and is seen in the trends. Therefore, we can clearly eliminate NSIT ECE.

MNNIT Allahabad is a really good institution for the course but when it is compared to the other two unbeatable colleges - DTU and NIT Surathkal, it does not even stand a chance.

It is quite a difficult choice between the two - NITK and DTU. When compared with DTU, the Academics are better at NITK. Yet, on the other hand, DTU has a better set of peers, luring placement opportunities, and a more modernized campus. NITK has the brand tag of NIT while DTU has the brand tag of DCE.

Now, the choice is yours. One of my friends had the same conflict a few years back and choose to go for DTU IT.
