The two-year full-time residential MBA offered to SIBM Pune is its flagship program. Its duration is 2 years. Courses are offered in various specializations like Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, and Operations Management. The course structure aims at imparting students top-notch industry exposure and a nurturing classroom environment. This helps them become the leaders of tomorrow.

The placement committee of SIIB and the faculty are responsible for the placement process. Students receive training for the summer internship process for group discussion, interviews, and resume building. This attracts more recruiters every year.

Symbiosis Pune MBA is comparable to IIM Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode, Narsee Monjee, and MDI. It is better than most of the tier 3 IIM. SIBM Pune MBA placements are pretty good, especially for HR and Marketing.

SIBM Pune placements 2022 ended with an average CTC of INR 23.06 LPA. The major recruiting sector was Consulting, FMCD or FMCG.

Yes, pursuing MBA from SIBM Pune is indeed worth it. Just like any other B-School, SIBM has its own pros and cons. My sister is currently studying there and I can list a few positive and negative aspects:

Positive aspects:

You won't be under pressure to multitask. It's your choice to get involved in any activity based on your wish. Beyond academics, there are a lot of fun activities in which you can indulge in.
Campus culture is amazing. SIBM teaches you to survive and sustain in a real competitive world.
The program is 'residential only' where you have to stay on campus and study. The campus is picturesque, situated on the outskirts of Pune, and has great connectivity with the city.
The existing library rules allow students to use the college library for 24 hours. They even have a night canteen in the general area, where you can sit and work on your group projects.
The coursework and syllabus are updated according to the new industrial requirements. You will have fun in learning which barely involves any mugging-ups.
You can decide your branch of specialization in the first month of your college at SIBM.

Negative aspects:

If you need an extra push or a pressurized environment to show your best, this may not be the right place for you. In fact, you have to get self-motivated and be proactive if you want to succeed in an MBA program at any institute.
There are some unwanted restrictions and hostel rules.
There is a high influence of Symbiosis University on SIBM Pune.
Fee is very high when compared to ROI.
If your dream is to get placed in top consultancies, SIBM might not be the right place for you as not many consulting companies hire from SIBM.

These are some pros and cons of opting SIBM. On your personal grounds, if the pros outweigh the cons, you must definitely give thought to pursuing your MBA at SIBM Pune.
