What should be preference order of NITs and IIITs for CSE branch?

There are several IIITs and NITs spread across different parts of the country. Some are very old, as of few NITs, and some quite new, as of most IIITs. 

Considering all the important factors you need to consider to take admission in CSE, the order of preference is listed below in points.

1. The best institute for CSE among all IIITs and NITs is IIIT Hyderabad, which undoubtedly offers the best placement for CSE.
2. Next, some of the old NITs- NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Allahabad, and NIT Warangal, which offers several excellent streams including CSE.
3. IIIT Allahabad should be the next choice, also offering excellent opportunities in CSE.
4. MNIT Jaipur, NIT Calicut, IIITM Gwalior, and IIIT Jabalpur are good institutes for CSE, offering quite a good amount of placement.
5. NIT Hamirpur and NIT Bhopal are good institutes, considering their excellent campus and facilities.
6. Next, IIIT Sri City, NIT Nagpur, and IIIT Kota are somewhat decent institutes.
7. NIT Surat is the next choice, which has a good reputation in placement too.
8. IIIT Kancheepuram and IIIT Bhubaneswar are decent institutes for CSE, offering some amount of placement.
9. At last, all remaining IIITs and NITs shall be considered as the option for CSE, which may be fruitful for students as a result of their own skills and hard work.
