Remarks :

The eligibility for the course is a 12th pass. We have to apply to the college through government counselling. Application forms for the counselling will be available at the cost range of 500 to 1000. The application will be available from the date of the 12th result.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to be a chemical engineer. That's why I chose the course. The department has a student-faculty ratio of 40:1. All the faculty members were either B.tech or M.tech graduates. Teaching methods were always practical. Each semester has 4 to 5 months of duration. Exams are easy to pass if we pay attention to the classes.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 83000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements from their 7th semester. There were around 10 core companies that came for placement. And they have offered around 50 positions. The highest package was around 9 lakh and the average was around 4 lakh. The percentage of students getting placed was around 90.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We can get a government scholarship if we are eligible for that scholarship. There's a separate department for handling scholarships for the students. Fixed fees for the entire course duration. Book fees and hostel fees are additional and optional.

Campus Life :

There were numerous clubs and social activities to participate in the campus. We can also participate in other department fest. The college has a quite huge library with over a lakh books and journals to learn from. The classrooms are quite ventilated. The college provides a huge attention to sports and extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

No electronic gadgets are allowed except laptops. Every student is provided with a cot. We have to bring if we need a bed and pillows. The quality of the hostel meals is pretty high when compared to other college hostels. Hostels are administered by the college itself. The affordability of the hostel is high.

TNAU course facility and faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
