Remarks :

Eligibility of this course is you have to pass out HS exam in science and the average percentage is 90. The application form is given on the BCKV website, and from there, students can apply for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is very reliable to me. I belong to an agricultural area so by studying this course I may develop our area. There are two faculties one is Agriculture and another is Horticulture faculty. Their exams are moderately tough enough. But if you study well this is going to be easy for you.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 13350 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are available at our university. Many top-rated colleges and companies offered us internships. But first, you have to be eligible for this opportunity. There are many projects of breeding plants and making new varieties.

Placement Experience :

From the 8th semester can become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Flipkart, Amazon, and many other fertilizer companies have visited here. A student has to maintain his/her CHLA number above 8, so he/she can get the opportunity for placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You have to pay semester fees of Rs10000 after every 6th semester. Twice a year. These fees include everything like hostel fees, tuition fees, etc. Government Scholarships like Aikyashree, and SVM, and non-government scholarships like BIRLA, GD, etc. are there for students.

Campus Life :

In our university, there is one annual festival named Naihrit and one Freshers party which is known as Nabarun. There is a huge library in our university from where you can collect any books related to our course.

Hostel Facilities :

In hostels, 3 or 4 students have to live in a single room. It might be congested. Mess meal is two times daily. And monthly payable amount of the mess bill is around 2500. There are 3 types of grand in mess. On those days we are given very tasty foods.

Hostel Fee : INR 10000 per year

Interview Experience :

In our time, no interview was taken. All the eligible candidates were gathered in a hall room and they are calling us according to our name and ranks. And you have to choose which course you want to study.

Choose this course for a better job scope. The faculty-student ratio is at least 9:1. All faculty are hold the ph.D degree in their specialized field. They put their best in the total study time. Semester system and moderate difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you want to do higher study, you can choose agriculture. there is a bright future. The faculty of both agriculture and horticulture are good. teachers are also helpful. There are the smart classroom, RKVY, KVK etc. A semester ends in 6-7 months.

College Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing a Bsc. Agriculture as I came to know about the job opportunities associated with it. Faculty: The student ratio is poor because of a lack of recruitment in this sector for a long time. Quality of teaching is average because there are a limited number of teachers who could inculcate our interest in this subject through their good teaching methods. Others were just presenting slides and reading out the lines written on them. Random announcement of exams was frequent with only 40 percent syllabus completed in 3 months and 60 percent syllabus completed only 10 days before the exam. Moreover, there were midterm,endterm, and viva throughout 1 month and it was very hectic due to continuous 33 exam papers conducted at a time.

BCKV-as i see it

Course Curriculum Overview:

India is an agriculture-dependent country where more than 70% of the people are involved in agriculture and allied sectors, there is a huge scope for improvement and modernization. The faculty and profs are very helpful, no extra tuition is needed, library is available. Exams are not that punctual but moderately easy to pass.

I chose it because I couldn't clear medical. There are mainly three faculty in the undergraduate level agriculture faculty horticulture faculty and agriculture engineering faculty. Almost 100 students were admitted to the agriculture faculty. Almost 30 students were admitted to both the horticulture and agriculture engineering faculty. It was my pleasure to review about my University.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus Placements. Various Seed Companies Fertilizers companies and many other private companies are visited and various offers are made. The highest Package was 720000 per annum and the average package was 480000 per annum. About 30 to 40 percent of students are getting placements. My plan is to take a placement offered by the Company.
