Remarks :

The admission process was done online through the university website through portal payment. The application forms can be collected from the counter within the university campus. The admission process is just fine.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course to cultivate more knowledge in the field of social work profession and help out the common society In the department there are 9 present faculty and a population of 290 students. The faculties are well qualified and have a good method of teaching. In one semester there are two internal exams and the end semester.

Class Size : 33Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The students of the department are allowed to go to NGOS and also to those social work governmental sectors. the prodigal's home this organization is under the governmental service and maintained as a rehabilitation center.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the fee payment, the student needs to log into the university portal and pay online. The student gets the opportunity to apply for both state and central scholarships. The university doesn't provide any extra jobs apart from education.

Campus Life :

In the annual year, the Department of Social Work conducts one fest which is the social work fest in the month of March There is enough availability of books in the university library. In a particular year, there is only one sports week because of n lack of extracurricular curricula. the university offers cultural clubs.NCC and other groups.

The Good and bad sides of SJU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BSW because I want to be a professional social worker and also for my personality development. There are a total of 8 teachers in the department and they are all very approachable and friendly. They always help the students in effective learning. There are a total of 2 internal exams which have 2 units each and the end-semester exam.

A very genuine review by the student of st.joseph university

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose this course was that I wanted to do something to society by bringing change to society as a social changer.. The faculty are around 20 in my department and the students are about 200+. The qualification of the teaching faculty is that every lecturer or teaching faculty has a master's degree. There are 3 exams in a single semester one final and the other two for the internal marks exam and the exams are not exactly too hard but not too easy too.
