Remarks :
I was admitted on merit to the college and that's why the fees were only 20,000 per year. The admission process was a lengthy procedure, as one can expect in any college admission. We were each given a token according to our arrival and were called as per the same. The application forms were given to us directly upon arriving at the college. Prior to this, my parents had visited the college to understand what documents and other stuff are required to complete the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I love language and English happens to be my favorite. I also love writing. During my time, there were about 35-40 students in a class. Overall, I would say the teachers were able to handle us. The qualifications of the faculty are excellent. The exams are also on time, difficulty is on a medium level.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I apologize, but the 20,000 I mentioned was for one semester, so that would make 40,000 per year. Merit students have concessions in the fee structure, but even so, I would say, considering the facilities offered and the quality of teaching, the fees aren't too high, at least not during my time. I hope the fee structure is reasonable even now. They do provide financial assistance for financially troubled students as well as, reservation benefits for those who need it. There is no scholarship campus placement or internship.
Campus Life :
Life is great if you like women's college. Extracurriculars, annual fests, food fests, festivals, and arts fests are all held or given importance here. Sports is another aspect that is given equal importance at Mercy College. Every assistance and help is provided for the sports-inclined students. The library is my favorite place. Though it does not boast the best collection, it still has enough books to keep you hooked.
