Remarks :
In Coochbehar government engineering college, there are some seats reserved for SC, ST OBC-A & OBC-B students. I am a general student pursuing mechanical engineering at this college and here admission process is much better than the other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our teaching staff and faculty members are highly educated and they help us whenever we need any help with study-related issues. In our college the faculty-student ratio is 1: 5. We have four CA exams and one semester exam. To pass this exam is very easy.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th semester every student is eligible for campus placements, many big multinational companies like Tata, Infosys, cognizant, and wipro often come to our college and make huge hiring so every student gets placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have different types of scholarships government as well as private also, in government scholarship we have swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship. In this scholarship, a student gets sixty thousand rupees each year.
Campus Life :
In our college we have different clubs like a debate club, song club, and dance club, we have also sports clubs such as cricket, football, volleyball, etc. We arranged freshers named as croeso for first-year students.
