Remarks :

We can apply for Bpit through the jee mains exam and then councelling through GGSIPU. ELIGIBILITY: admission through jee mains exam, class 12th passed, must have PCM in class 12th Admission through GGSIPU councelling takes about 2 months which is a long time. It should be completed in less time. No reservation availved

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in technology and I think being in the BTECH course will give me immense opportunities to explore new things related to my interests. Student ratio: boys:girls:: 5:1. Faculty are qualified enough. Some have graduated from top universities, one of my physics teachers was doing her PhD in physics from NSUT Delhi along with teaching. The teaching method is very normal. Some teachers make efforts to make the students understand concepts, but others don't even bother if you are listening or not; they just want you to sit quietly in class if you are attending their period. Term exams are after every semester. They are not that difficult to pass. One can study one week before the exams and pass them with good marks.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 177900 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is 1,77,900 for the first year The scholarship is provided for Kashmiri migrants or military families. Many other government and private scholarships are also available. A fee hike is done by GGSIPU University once a year or once in two years. Cost to study: it includes travelling expenses, eating expenses in the canteen, outside college and other miscellaneous expenses. A total of 10K - 12K per month is required other than college fees. There is a reliance scholarship and a national scholarship portal for scholarships.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Malhaar conducted in November every year. GGSIPU University also conducts Anugoonj Fest in February every year. All the basic types of course books, journals, and refreshers are available in the library. The library has AC, a card issuing system, open till 5 p.m. Football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, table tennis etc are available. There are separate clubs for all types of extracurricular activities which conduct some type of event every month. Tech Society NSCC is run by students. Dramatics Society AVARAN is also run by students only.
