A review of GITAM: Great campus life, good curriculum

Remarks :

I got a 100% scholarship based on my MAT score of 99%ile and XAT score of 89%ile. They sent me an email that I am eligible for a 100% scholarship. I went through a 15-minute interview before the admission was confirmed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is really good, it is easy to pass, but really hard to get a good grade. Most of the faculties were good. The options for choosing majors and minors could be a bit better as they only gave us a few options like you can't have a finance and operations or finance and HR. The exams are held regularly and are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

I did a few projects as a part of my MBA, and although the university offered internships, I joined one that I got through personal contacts, as it is more prestigious than those offered at the university.

Placement Experience :

The placements are good, there are a lot of companies visiting, but for us most of the companies were for marketing and sales roles, the roles that were offered in finance were realtively less. Overall you will get placed somehere.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They now removed the 100% scholarships and hiked the fee to 900000, but there are no additional fees that they collect once you join the program, any other services provided are given to you free of cost. Now scholarships are based on merit.

Campus Life :

The campus life is great, there are a lot of clubs, and there is always something going on. It is really fun. The campus has facilities for almost all sports, a big cricket stadium, football pitch, basketball court, tennis court, indoor stadium, etc. There is also a free gym. The libraries are great too.

Interview Experience :

The written test was pretty easy, but the time was too short so I did not have time to answer to the best of my capacity. The interview was casual, they asked me a few personal questions, current affairs, and basic finance questions.

Because I am really keen on marketing that's why I have joined this college, when it comes to faculty is good, the student ratio is also good, all faculty mostly competed pg, and my review for them is 78%. It is easy to pass if you study hard.
