My graduation biography

MS
4.0 /5

Remarks :

I have gone through the EAMCET exam. I have availed 18879 rank in EAMCET exam through that I have taken the college and I have got the college. Reservation has helped me a lot and I have got the scholarship. The admission process has to be increased by decreasing the cut-off rank in the State Exam. The admission fees have to be decreased so that the poor people can avail of the ENGINEERING COURSE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have taken the ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING by this course there will be more government job facilities. In future, there will be more opportunities. The faculty are not well trained they will not come regularly to the class. The exams are moderate for the students

Internships Opportunities :

I have done an internship in BHARAT HEAVY ELECTRICALS LIMITED on PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER. I have done a project in our college which is done during the TECHNO FEST on Solar panel. I have not got any stipends.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, the students have been eligible for the placements. But very low companies have visited our college. We informed the placements officer but he has not responded. very low students nearly 5% have got the placements that too off campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The hostel fees have been increased due to the corona. I have got the EPASS scholarship which is provided by the state government. I have been on the scholarship for 4 years. The placements are not good in this college

Campus Life :

Life on campus is good with a good environment. The college fest is held every year in March month. The fest will be done very well. Sports also has been participated but the college faculty does not support for the sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Per room in the hostel were 2 to 3 members. The meal is below average. The hostel mess menu keep on changing for every six months but the food is below average and the mess fees has also been increased.I have stayed in the college hostel for 4 years

Almost 80% of students from our college get placed every yea. The average package was 27 lakhs per annum and the highest was 51 lakhs per annum recorded last year. We get placements in 7 th semester. I will take my job after I get placement. I would prefer to continue my job only after placement.

from the 7th semester, students can sit for placements. the companies visited are Google, Goldman Sachs, amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart. etc. 90% of the students were placed. highest is 66 lakhs and the average is around 20-25 lakhs. my plans after getting a degree is if I get a good package from campus placements I will accept it and do a job if I am not satisfied or if I do not get the good package I will go for masters abroad.

Most of the students opt for core electrical jobs eventually and very few move out of this zone. Packages are upwards of 30 lpa on average and the highest package was around 60lpa overseas(Japan). A few of the students also go for MS, mtech or upsc after completing btech

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this to get a degree in computer science which I thought would be better for me. The course curriculum is good as of now. The faculty-and-student ratio is okay too. But all of the faculty here are contract-based I suppose but are of good knowledge. The faculty inspires students to gain knowledge and motivates them to be independent as much as possible. They train students to be disciplined and are strict in that term. The teachers are also well qualified and of a good experience. The term exams got postponed due to the weather conditions and state holidays but apart from that, every other exam is conducted timely. But I would blame the correction for the pass percentage of the students from the university, though you would find the paper to score well.

Great placement was there, but the packages were a bit less due to the recession. placement percent is around 98-99%. Many students go for higher studies, I am also thinking of doing MBA or preparing for UPSC. The highest packege this year was around 70-72 lpa.
