Remarks :

The admission process was under MG University's allotment website. +2 marks were considered for admission need of any further entrance exams. All the details about admission date and fees will be provided form the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I had done well in higher secondary. The college has around 3,000 students studying and more than 200 faculty members. The teachers are well-qualified and student-friendly. They conduct two internal exams for each semester.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 3000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of study for merit students in aided programmes is affordable. The course fee is around 3000 per year. You need to pay an additional amount for writing semester exams. I was not eligible for any scholarship. The college conducts an interview and few students get placed.

Campus Life :

One of the best things about the college is the social life here. It has a nice ambience and a vast area. The college provides opportunities for various departments to conduct a fest. The Library here is a huge three-storeyed building with more than 1 lakh books. All major sports competitions are conducted here. The college has various number of clubs for students among which NSS and NCC are the best.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is active and good. The placement drives start in the 5th semester and a lot of companies like Deloitte, tcs, bosch, cognizant etc are coming to the placement drives at the college. The average salary package is 2 lakhs per annum and the highest one is 8 lakhs per annum. Almost 25 % of students get placements every year. My plan too is to secure such a job.

Sir Syed College, The Mirror of Kannur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I love nature and I am really interested in plants. In this college above 2100 students and 62 teachers. Each and every teacher completes their Post-graduation with a high mark or rank. Many of them completed their Ph.D. and some of the teachers are currently working on it. Teaching methods are strictly traditional methods. Provide notes, conduct exams, ask questions, etc. Term exams are conducted by Kannur University. In every 6 months. It's actually a semester system. Also, internal tests conducted by college faculties are really easy.

Quality education guides u to success

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it's a demanding and highly valued sector. The health sector and life science are developing faster than we can imagine. Biochemistry is a field that covers all life science which includes molecular biology, biotechnology, plant and animal science, etc. Students have a relaxing environment and an adaptive syllabus which meets completely to the student ratio. Teachers are more friendly and helpful. The teaching method is followed by modern education methods like PPT presentations, research guidance, projects, seminars, etc. which help the students to get an idea about the subject and to complete the syllabus without any troubles and workload. Term exams were conducted at the end of each semester. Before that, they conduct a model examination for students to give an idea about the question patterns and timing. Terms exams are not that difficult, questions are only based on ur syllabus and reference books obtained from the Library.

placement cells are very active in our colleges and from the 5th semester students are eligible for placements and many companies like wipro, tcs, and Infosys visited and they have selected many students Average packages of companies vary like 2.5 LPA, 3.5 lpa, etc. 50% of students get placed. My plan after my degree is to pursue a master's in computer science.
