Remarks :

The process of admission in our college (Government E Raghvendra Rao PG Science College Bilaspur Chhattisgarh) is merit-wise, one should have good % in 12th. Government E Raghvendra Rao PG Science College Bilaspur Chhattisgarh is an autonomous college which comes under Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Bilaspur Chhattisgarh. Application fee is Rs 1846. And the special thing is that NEP 2020 has been implemented here. B+ Grade has been given by NAAC. Students from Jammu and Kashmir come to study through by reversion benefits. College Faculty Members is Very Friendly & Environment is too good.. Studies are done very well along with sports, annual sports or many other programs are happens.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is BSC Maths Group ( Information Technology Branch). I wanted to study technical education so I opted for this course. This department has 4 faculties of which 1 is HOD Ma'am 2 guest teachers and 1 laboratory student Ratio is a maximum of 100 in BSC 1Year. HOD Ma'am has cleared the NET or PhD and 2 guest teachers have cleared the NET exam. The faculties teaching methods are Very good & all Facilities Members like Friendly type. Digital classes are available in the IT Department. College contact 2 term exam 1st Exam term in January & 2nd exam term in July Month. You will score well by scoring well in internals and passing the previous questions well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

BSC Maths + Bio Group fee structure in one year is 5000. it doesn't cost much. In college you can apply for NSP, Inspire Scholarship & CG Post Metric Scholarship and other state people get scholarships or benefits. Campus selection is not happening, there are no job chances. You have to fall on your own and you have to look after the job opportunities.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is held in which drama, sports, and cultural activities are also held in the middle of the month. In the program goes like culture, painting, rangoli, drama, easy, talk controversy etc. Book available in the library. sports include kabaddi, cricket, chess, badminton, ball badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball etc. Extracurricular activities, NSS, NCC & Red cross society.

Hostel Facilities :

There is a hostel warden in the faculty. There are two hostels under the college, one ST/SC Boys Hostel & second Boys Hostel. 4 people live in one room. Everyone lives together.Meal between senior and junior. It is operated by Rs. 1800 per month or room rent is Rs. 600. The mess menu is good, season wise vegetables are available, after college admission you can apply for hostel.You can fill the form which is determined according to the distance. It costs more to rent a PG or room.

Life at science college Raipur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for a BSc in mathematics with computer science as one of the core subject. As the computer is highly demanded subject for placements. Faculties are not that good, some professors are good but some are very rude and doesn't even teach well. Fcaulty student ratio is very low. Almost around all faculty members have Phd degree so they all are very experienced. They teach well and clear doubt. But few teachers don't teach well so it depends on your luck which teacher you get. Semester exams take place in every six months, studying for semester exams is not difficult, study your class notes and do past 5-7 years paper whole heartedily and you will ace the exams. Yes but checking of the answer sheets is very strict so make sure you write well.
