Remarks :

I was admitted to BCA/MCA (Integrated) at Chitkara University and this course was for 5 years. I got the application form from the Chitakar office in Chandigarh and the per semester fee was Rs. 27,000/- and the application form cost Rs. 1100/- and I did not avail of any reservation benefit and the admission process was very smooth there was only one personal interview.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took this course because I was interested in coding. The teachers are very friendly and helpful. They deliver amazing lectures and the plus point is that the classes are always on time. faculty is highly experienced and responsible. The curriculum is up to date on the official website and students are updated in the classes as well. Teachers put in a lot of effort to make your studies and 75% attendance mandatory criteria make you attend the classes so overall you cannot run away from studying. Lectures are conducted everyday every 5 days a week. Teachers are cooperative and clear all the doubts of the students without any hesitation. The term exam is timely held at the university and no difficult to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Infosys and IBM, etc. give opportunities to the students. The Project was on Web development and languages to improve yourself. The stipend offered was quite low. The time period for an intership was 3 months.

Placement Experience :

From last year and last semester according to your course, you can start having placement jobs. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, IBM, and many other small companies come and take students with them. 80-90% of students are placed in the placement drive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is different for different courses. for BCA/MCA (Integrated) during my batch fees were Rs. 27,000/ Per Semester (6 Months) and they take 6000/- extra for security purposes only in the first semester not in the other semester. The university increases fees every year for a new batch. There is no Scholarship at Chikara University.

Campus Life :

The university has modern infrastructure, well-equipped labs, libraries, sports facilities, and comfortable accommodation options to make campus life comfortable and enjoyable for students. The University hosts a variety of cultural and social events, including fests, sports, concerts, debates, and Seminars, among others, which provide ample opportunity for students to showcase their skills.
