Remarks :

Eligibility for this course is on the basis of a 10+2 score and JEE Mains score. The Application form can be found on the Thapar University website. The admission process is automatic you will receive an email about your admission updates.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculties are very good here. Currently, there are 70 students present in mechatronics engineering. Faculty are qualified from renowned IITs. Teachings are done on smart boards and through PPTs and lab practicals. Exams are held after every 1.5 months and difficulty is easy to moderate.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, and many other renowned companies visit here. The highest package is nearly 1crore provided and the average package is greater than 15 lakh per annum. 99% of students get placed here with a good package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee hike is 10% per year. Scholarships are given by the university according to your jee percentile and board percentage result. The cutoff is generated and top students are given the benefit. Approximately 300 students are given scholarships.

Campus Life :

Annual fests are conducted in August and November month. The library has thousands of books available with multiple copies so you can easily have them. Classrooms have smart boards, good connectivity, and charging sockets so you can easily work on your laptops. There are many sports options here in Thapar and completions are held frequently. There are 40+ clubs for almost everything like robotics, dance, music, coding, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

There is average Wi-Fi connectivity in hostels. The meal provided is good and hygiene is maintained. The hostel registration process will be updated by email. You will get a Google form and accordingly, hostels are allotted. Also, hostels are on the basis of jee mains percentile/cgpa.
