Remarks :

The admission is through Josaa portal, Entrance exam:- jee advanced. All the admission is done through eg portal of IIT Jammu once your seat is confirmed. Reservation benefits are available for obc, sc/st , ews and pwd categories. Separate reservation for women is also present. No improvements are required.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am into automotive engineering so I chose this course. 1:12 is the faculty ratio. All the faculties have Ph.D. from IITS or other major institutions. The teaching method is modern and good. Exams were on time and very slightly tough.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities are good. Flipkart Qualcomm Tata and many other companies provide internship opportunities. The stipend goes up to 1lakh rupees. Students also go for projects to other colleges like iit Delhi.

Placement Experience :

7the semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies are tata Microsoft Mahindra etc and the number of offers is generally very good. 85% placement rate. My plans are to study further about automobiles.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is like every other iit not expensive. 7% fee hike every year in tuition fees. There are various scholarships available for everybody and can be read about on the IIT Jammu websites. Merit cum needs, Free messing, Tuition fees waiver.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is called Reneo and the technical fest is called Technectus in march. Library has a lot of books and research papers. The classroom has air conditioner projectors and goos seats. Sports facilities are adequate everything is available and extracurricular activities are promoted. Clubs are dance clubs anime clubs esports sae etc.

IIT Jammu from start to end.

Placement Experience:

Basements are pretty good, especially for the electrical and computer science branches the average package of computer science is around 25 lakhs per annum as per the latest placement sale and for other branches it is also pretty well you will be provided an internship from third year onwards and many candidates have also been provided with ppos.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course, there were too many scopes, this was the reason behind my choosing this course. There are 1 faculty over 10 students. All faculty are Doctoral from 1st Gen IITs. exams were timely and quite difficult to score.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because from starting my interest has been in electronic instruments. The faculty is quite good. The faculty is well qualified. In one year 2 semester is taken and in one semester 2 class test and one end sem. And one sem. The exam is taken in college. Calculus is mostly difficult to get good marks in exams.

Nice campus placements are provided in the college. In last year, students are eligible for campus placements. About 70-80 percent students are placed. Various big companies like aakash, tata etc. come for placement.

Best 3G IIT in term of placement and infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. As it is IIT so many big MNCs come here and recruit. 85% of the students got placed with the highest 53 lakhs, average package of 17.6 lakhs. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Intel, Paytm, etc. I am planning for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements, you will be eligible for an internship in the third year, and for placements, it is 4th year, placements and internship process starts in September only. Placement is very good here, last year ie 2022-23 the highest package was 53 lpa, avg was 18 lpa, lowest was 5 lpa, also 85% of students got placed.

IIT JAMMU: A growing culture of education

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after the 7th semester to sit for placements. Placements are nice since the college is newly built. The highest package offered last year was 52 lacs and Avery was 15 lacs. I want a job to fulfill the needs of my family.
