Remarks :

I took JEE Main and qualified to be eligible for B.Tech. at any NIT. Admission into NIT was through JOSAA and when the seat was finally allowed, online student registration at the respective NIT's website had to be done. Finally, an offline document verification at the respective NIT completes the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

After NEP B.Tech. 1st year different branches have some common courses but 2nd year onwards course curriculum is branch-specific only. The faculty are well-experienced and qualified Ph.D. holders. Midterm was after 1 and half months and end sem after 4 and half months since the semester beginning.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 61000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are available for eligible students having skills and knowledge. Companies such as DRDO, and Microsoft offer internships to Pre-final year students between the 5th to 6th semester, available for 2 months of summer internship.B. Tech. and MCA final-year students are available for semester-long internships.

Placement Experience :

On-campus placements are present and Final year students from the 7th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements. Placements at NIT Allahabad are one of the best among all NITs, as of 2023 highest package in B.Tech was 135 LPA and the average was 20.3 LPA CTC. Around 92% of students out of eligible B.Tech. candidates were placed. Companies such as DEShaw, Microsoft, Oracle, and Infosys visit for on-campus placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is based on categories either General, OBC and SC, ST, or OBC-NCL the latter has almost 1/3 the regular fees excluding 25000 Mess fees which are mandatory for hostelers. Students can get fee waivers based on their family income and by applying for it on campus.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Culrav and it's conducted around April or May. Books and Journals are available in the library. All the sports facilities and gyms are available on campus and there are various sports clubs one can join when they are at NIT. Different committees for dance, music, art, photography, fashion, hip-hop, and dramatics are present in freshers can join by giving auditions.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is in good condition. The 1st-year hostel has 7 floors, each floor has table tennis, there are TV rooms on the ground and 3rd floor, and 4 fully functional lifts are available. There are 2-3 water coolers above the ground floor with okay water quality. Rooms are spacious for 3 students, there are 2 fans, 3 almirahs, and a study room attached next to the room with a fan and LAN port for internet but it works with proxy only. Finally, the messy food is mostly okay, good on some days and questionable quality on some days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

All About MMMUT Gorakhpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
