- The infrastructure was really amazing it had really good and spacious auditoriums.
- The events were really amazing as well. We uses to enjoy there so much with dance and music.
Dislikes
- The things i disliked the most was the attendance system though i know attending class is important but sometimes.
- The summer term thats Students had to attend after getting detained was very much costly as well, it was almost 8k for each subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in the field of psychology since school. And i had heard chandigarh university offers a great programs in BA honours. We were required to do 1 month internship as a part of our curriculum in 4th and 6th semester which really helped in gaining real life experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for each semester is 35000. And 2500 was the examination fees for each semester. Scholarships are provided during the time of the admission based on their cucet score. I scored 87/100 and got 50% scholarship. But to maintain the scholarship during the entire 3 year course we have to have more than 75% attendance with no detain or backlogs.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is the most famous attraction of the CU campus. The campus is divided into 2 parts north campus and South campus. North campus included 3 blocks and South campus involves 1. Different fests happens almost monthly and one annual Cu fest that lasts for 2 days.
Admission
The entrance exams was CUCET and the score of the entrance exams determined the % of the scholarship the student would receive. It is given on the website. Each student is provide with a mentor that guides them through the entire process.
Faculty
All the departments had huge faculties which very educated and competent teaching staff. Each subject was given to the teacher that had expertise in the field. We were provide with mentors and counselors as well that helped as facilitate whatever problem we faced in academics and life issues as well. We also had life skill and mentoring classes as well taken by our mentors.
