Remarks

I applied at Nari siksha Niketan and I also submitted the fees there as it was late for me to get admission but I haven't taken admission there but later I got to know that the college reviews are not that much good in comparision to mahila vidyalaya. So I choose Mahila vidyalaya later for my higher studies as it's reviews and feedbacks were so good. For taking admission in mahila vidyalaya the cut off goes to 80% for general student and these percentage are based on our 10th and 12th marksheet and according to the cutoffs the admission is taken.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were approx total 150 students overall in my course and there were three sections having 50 students each and as it was girls college so there was no boys girls ratio . It was all girls everywhere. And many cultural event took place like NCC , competitions like ( rangoli, mehndi , art and craft , spray painting, etc ) and at each festivals some activities definitely take place so that student do not feel bored in the college and stay motivated to attend the college. I do attend classes for learning only and when I don't want to study I do not prefer to attend the classes only for the attendance.

Internships Opportunities

1

There's no summer internships ,the students have to find intership and jobs at their own . The other courses scenario are also same there's no such difference. As I was pursuing BA so there's no summer internship necessary to do so and college just focuses on the completion of the degree.

Placement Experience

1

Final placements rarely starts from 6 semester only and average was so low of my college and rarely any student got placement from the college. There's was so less placement criteria ( as like from 150 students 10-15 students got placements only ).

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees of three was 6,000 only . For each year I have to pay 2thousand rs. I go to college via public convience as college was. Quite far from my home and it leads to spend 5 thousand for three years. The fees category is same for everyone there's no category division. No scholarship facility was there in my college at my pursuing time.

Campus Life

5

There were indoor games in my college that we use to play almost 4 days in a week so that our mind don't get stressed . College a has small sick room , the girls having periods pain or other pain can take rest there. The necessary Medicines were available there . There was a huge canteen in my college and the prices of the available snacks are affordable by everyone. There's a library in my college. My college was very fun loving , I use to go to famous market of the Lucknow which is just aside by college . The students hangout in the canteen of the campus and also outside the campus ( usually in the market) .there was no immersion program offered by the college as it was not that much upgraded college.

Hostel Facilities

5

As my college was girls there's only girls hostel .and approx there were 80 girls living in the hostel. As I have completed my graduation a long time ago so I do not have much knowledge about the hostel as I wasn't living in the hostel .I go to my college via convience and from home only . The things I remember about my college hostel was that there was a huge mess in which the food is served and the infrastructure of hostel was better than the campus. In the girls hostel there's no private room facility . The room are hall size in which 8-10 beds were kept and a cupboard is provided with each bed. The students who are outsiders only prefer to stay in that hostel either they live in pg or somewhere else on rent .

Exam Structure

The admission procedure for taking admission in BA in my college was very simple. The students who want to take admission in my college have to visit college and if they stood by their certain principles they got the admission. For example in BA the person should had scored more than 60% in their 12 then only he /she will be applicable to get admission . There are other ways also to get admission like from the knows anyone can get the admission easily .

Faculty

5

University has undertake shift system where certain classes starts by 8 AM and ends by 1:30 PM and certain classes starts by 11 AM and ends by 4:30 PM. There's common assembly from 10:45 to 10:55. There's break in between. The faculty members are very friendly. And does their job well.

Tell us the detailed fee structure (yearly) and scholarship details (if any). Mention the fees for the complete course along with the fact that it is increasing or not.* The year-wise fees you paid (or will be paying). Mention the Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category (like Management, SC, ST). Also, share the fees of your batchmates for categories other than yours. Names and amounts of scholarships or financial aid that are available for students. Like merit cum need.

Final placement starts in November and goes upto February. Most of the batch gets placed . For the ones which don't get placed college tries to help them out with references through alumni. Average CTC was 17.35 LPA last year, median was 16LPA. BFSI and IT/ITES are the most preferred. Placement committee helps the students in getting placed and they try to keep the process as transparent as possible. The faculty advisor for the placements also helps in the same.

Final placements usually start around January. It takes about 2 weeks for the process to finish. Placements are 100% every year. CTC can range from 17LPA, with an average of 30LPA to 65L domestic and 1.3Cr in international offers. Placement process is transparent as most of it is conducted by students themselves and the placement committee works hard to ensure every student is placed.

Sumer Internship Process starts from August, You can sit in for the SIP. The highest stipend for SIP ranges from Rs.5000-10000 and lowest is as much as Rs.3,000. More than 10 Companies including startups visit the campus. There were few companies which hired students for unpaid internship.
