Remarks

I have applied in many colleges but as per the allotment process of CUET , I got Mata Sundri College for Women The college is alloted according to the score card of CUET we can just select our preferences for the college . As it was on an allotment basis so I got MSCW I was not rejected. So the process starts from January - February month when you are in 12 class you have to fill the application form for the CUET exam. Then the exam will be held in accordingly . Then near the month of August you will get your score then you have to fill form in which you have the college list and you have to make your preference list for the college then they will allot you the college according to your CUET Score Card . The eligibility is CUET exam for the 12th passed students . Most preferred course is B.A. Hons. Cut off is 93-98 for top college like Gargi , Miranda .

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There is strength of 70 students of my course from which only 25-30 are regular comer . It's a girl's college so average is 40% of students who come . There is cultural diversity in the class majority of students are from outside of Delhi like Jammu, Leh ladakh, Punjab, UP , Bihar West Bengal etc. The peer group is good. We together make presentation and assignments . Some are extrovert and some are introvert . No it's not a thing to get marks according to your participation in class There are some students who genuinely attend the classes for study , some are the bunk students who came and leave the college for wandering to different places , some are the attendance seekers who came to get the marks through the attendance .

Internships Opportunities

3

There is no 100 percent but last time many students have got internship. Those who will be left for the internship they manage from LinkedIn , internshala etc. Highest paid internship is of 21k Lowest 3-4k Average 8k Highest 21k Last time 40+ company have recruited Like Deloitte, KPMG, kraftshala , Accenture etc. Deloitte hire more students No idea about others .

Placement Experience

3

It starts in February it overs in 2-3 days Last time many students placed. The college do nothing for the remaining student and they have to manage by themselves . Average package is 6 lakh per annum Highest 21 lakh per annum Deloitte, Accenture , KPMG and kraftshala etc. Deloitte hired many of the students last year. Don't know about this very much.

Fees and Financial Aid

So if we talk about the fee structure it is around 18000 per year for my course and it would add semester wise exam fees for the conduction of exam . There is canteen which has high prices according to me and the food is good but not that much . There is no hostel so outsiders live in P.G's or at their relatives place . We don't have any transportation fee in the college . We have to pay around 18000/- for this course of three years + exam fees which includes extra money for the practical of subjects if any in every semester . I think the fees is high according to other college as in the Bharati College fees was around 10000/- for BA Hons English and here I'm paying that much money . If I talk about other expenses that it would be for the of students as they have to pay rent , daily food expenses , travel expenses which may cost different to everyone ; for me it cost 150/- and also all the basic needs of a pg as well as other students . I don't know about if the fees vary for the students of different categories . And moreover , I'm not aware about the scholarship process that it is provided or not . Even I haven't heard of any scholarship or financial aids that is given to the students .

Campus Life

4

The sports complex is so small which just have a net of basketball , a teacher cabin , two rooms , two changing rooms and washrooms . They provide juice and and a fruit per day during practice to those who participates in sports games from college . There are gatka , taekwondo and other equipment's . No gym and swimming pool in college . The auditorium is so spacious and fully air conditioning , there we can have department fest , farewell , fresher's etc . There are many speakers and comfortable seats . The library is also quite spacious . It has AC , it is very clean also . The timings are 9am to 4pm . All the books are accessible , we have a access to a website from where we can download the research paper for our help . The campus is big includes two block buildings , a separate auditorium , sports complex and a gurdwara also . Most of the students travel by metro , some opted for DTC buses . No personal vehicles are allowed in college premises . Not allowed . There is cafeteria where we can have fast food , snacks, south indian food , ice cream counter also . There is a medical room where I have never visited but I heard that it have a teacher / doctor ( I don't know) who gives medicine only . I don't think they provide such a good treatment for minor emergencies . The college is well . After class we refresh our minds by chit chat or listening music or just scrolling phones . After that we back to the class No late-night canteen is not opened it closes before the college is closed . They go 3-4 times a week they usually go at Patel chest for some fast food, coffee ,Juice etc. It would be better to don't talk about the " safe " zone for the girls . We all are aware that what's happening in our nation . There were snatching of phones happened two to three times one day but after complaint it was stopped. But yeah there is pink booth out of the college . The main fest of the college is SAARANG . They have recently invited the famous punjabi singer Gurnam Bullar . The other fest are the departmental fest of every department . They have nice arrangements for the fest and really vibe full . There are many committees like cybercell, women development cell, placement cell etc . The important society for CV is placement cell , NCC , Women Development Cell . No , they don't provide such facilities.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes , there common room in the college where we can relax our minds , there are chairs to seat . It is quite spacious . All the students can spend their leisure time there . There are 8-9 washrooms in the rest room on every floor . It is cleaned regularly . There is also pad vending machine which has some charges to collect a pad from it . The washroom for students and teachers are separate . The students who are outsiders they live in PG's . Some gave good facilities in there pg like good food , cooperative owners , good room partners , cooler , almirah , study table and matress also . And some have average facilities like messy rooms , average food , strict owner , uncooperative roommates fans , small cupboard , broken study table and all .

Exam Structure

Whole scenario is that it is a CUET based exam which we need to give for getting the admission . So we need to register, fill the form which costed 1400/- per student , after giving exam the score card by NTA is given . The admission process starts from January - February month students who are in class fill the application form. And after 2-3 week correction windows open. The exam will be conducted in May to June month. The exam center will be given 3-4 days before the day of exam. They give the exam center very far but not in my case . Then the result of the exam will be given in August after that you have to fill the form for college preferences You have to fill the preference list for the college. After some time they will allot us the college then you have to pay the fee to secure your admission. And you can go for second round by upgrading to get other college. You have option to upgrade till 4th round. Then the college will start in last week of August. The exam is CUET . The safe percentile to secure the admission in the college of your choice is 92% - 98%. No the only process to get admission is by giving CUET.

Faculty

The course followed by the college is with regards with the university . The course and exams are of moderate difficulty . although the students fail but with a bit of preparation it is not that difficult to pass the exams . The good aspect of the course is that you get to studey different subjects but the bad aspect is that you are forced to take a language subject for two years in your optional . Each year there are two semester end exams but almost for 2 to 3 months every semester there are internals assignment and continuous assessment which takes place whose date is not fixed . So fo almost 7 subjects you have to give around 5 to 6 tests +assignments apart from the semester end exams . Ever day around 1 to 5 classes takes place . The timetable is very messed up as you might have a class at 8 30 in the morning then another at 2 in the evening . Other day you will have classes straight from morning to evening . So it leaves very less free time as there are 7 subjects so it is very difficult to maintain a daily schedule . The faculty is decent not so great not so bad . Few are great who actually care for students and do not burden them with useless assignments and there are also those who do not care and will make a student cry with so many assignments and difficult tests . Also the strict attendance policy is the only reason why many students go to college . Although ours is not as strict as other who detain and refrain students from partaking in exams . If you have less than 67% attendance you will have to sign an undertaking that's it .

There is no placements provided by the college. In 2021, it organised a placement for final year students but don't know the data of placement. It was conducted for Gitarattan public school placement. And everyone doesn't get placed. In 2024, no such things happens so I can say that no placement is provided there. *Attaching the photo of SEP as there is no Placements done.*

Placement Experience:

1. Placement Timeline: Final placements typically start in late January or early February and continue until the end of March. The process usually takes about two to three months to complete. 2. Placement Success Rate: While most students do get placed, about 10-15% may remain unplaced during final placements. To assist those unplaced, the college offers additional workshops, personalized mentoring, and access to companies that may not participate in the main placement drive. 3. CTC Offered: Average CTC: Approximately ₹6-8 LPA. Highest CTC: Can reach up to ₹20 LPA, especially from leading consulting and tech firms. Lowest CTC: Some students may accept offers around ₹3-4 LPA, particularly in smaller companies or startups. 4. Preferred Companies: Most preferred companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and various consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture. The average CTC from these companies typically ranges from ₹6-10 LPA. 5. Bulk Hiring Companies: Companies like Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro are known for bulk hiring. These companies generally offer average CTCs of around ₹6-8 LPA. 6. Role of the Placement Committee: The placement committee is responsible for coordinating the placement process, inviting companies, conducting mock interviews, and providing guidance to students. While the process is generally transparent, some students feel that it could be improved, particularly regarding information sharing about job roles and company profiles. Overall, transparency is moderate but could benefit from clearer communication.

As am from second year I don't know much about placements. about the placement committee they are not that active that you can rely on them for placements. mostly students build profiles on linkedin and stay updated with the recruitments going on. Also sessions and seminars are conducted for profile building that are good. As of 2023, highest package was of around 37 lacs and an average package of around 6 to 7 lacs. the specialisations offered with this course are HR, FINANCE AND MARKETING.

After the completion of final semester exams the final placement starts. It takes around a month for placement to officially get over. Around 10-15% students get final placement and the others don't. The college provides placement opportunity for many many years to ex students as well. The average ctc is around 3-4Lpa, the hightest is around 12Lpa and the lowest can go to 1-1.5 Lpa. Amazon, delloite etc are the most proffered ones don't know about their avg ctc. The placement committee has a strong role in guiding students and giving them opportunity in the placement drive of the college, it also provides many mock interview practices and expert counselling to know more about placements and yes the process is 100% transparent.
