Remarks

I choose my college because of its goodwill in the whole city. My college is being known for its dicipline , knowledge and architecture. School of management sciences, college is very different from other colleges ,the other colleges student are very less interested in studies but in my college studies are been focused more rather than the other activities. I applied in Lucknow University also and I also got selected there but it's late and i already took the admission in the SMS ,college .The admission process of my college is on examination basis and also If the seats left then on registration process. The eligibility for pursuing MBA in my college is 60% or above percentile in graduation + if you have cleared the CUET exam then also you'll get the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

65 seating capacity is of each class and there are two sections of MBA . The total students are 130 and in first year it's general mba no specialisation. The girl boy ratio is 30:35 , 30 girls and 35 boys in each section. The maximum students are from different cities and states only 20-30 students are from Lucknow. My peer group is like me ,we all have same vibe . Yes , students do attend the class for learning specially in practical subjects but in theoretical subjects students attend the class only for the attendance.

Internships Opportunities

5

My college provides 100% internship and it includes both paid and unpaid internship. And some companies do provide PPO on the performance of the internship. Individual company hire minimum students and the companies came in bulk to hire students for intern ship.

Placement Experience

4

Lowest package goes from 2.5 lakh and highest goes till 10lakh . The final placements starts from the fourth semester in the second year . The most preferred company in MBA is TCS and Wipro. The priyagold company hires in bulk.

Fees and Financial Aid

My post graduation fees is 2.50 lakh for two years and this is average fees in comparison to other colleges. The total fees I'm paying is 3lakh in which 50,000 is of transport expenses( 25000 per year for bus). The fees do not vary for different categories but the scholarship does . The scholarship is not given to the general category students this is why I'm not eligible for filling scholarship form. The other colleges provide scholarship to every category but in my college the general category students are not permitted to apply for scholarship. The average scholarship that other category students get from my college is about 52000-55000 per year.

Campus Life

4

The best of my college is its infrastructure . The designing and architecture is so perfect of my college . My college has big garden , different blocks which are named on the river example ganga block , yamuna block . It also has big cafeteria and canteen and mother dairy. It has big computer labs , conference hall , multi purpose hall, sickroom , etc. My graduation college life was too much fun and memorable but my post graduation campus life is so boring. As I don't have much friends and the time that I get in college to have friends and fun is very less and MBA is a professional course.

Hostel Facilities

4

There's no such separation. But in hostels there's restrictions, the girls are not allowed in boy's hostel and vice versa. There is one big hostel for boys and 2 hostels for girls and girls hostel are more demand able because it has more facilities than boys hostel. The hostel fee is 80000 per year . Students do not have much freedom to go beside the hostel premises without written permission of the worden and at night no hosteler is allowed to go anywhere without there parent's consent. The fooding and all other things are included in the hostel fees. The menu of each day is very special and different but the quality varies sometimes food is good but sometimes it's of very bad quality. The food is being served in the mess in the hostel. There are 2 guard in boy's hostel and 6 in girls hostel. There are various options in sharing room. There's is single room facility having AC or without AC. There's 2 person room or 3 person room and a hall also. Washrooms are attached with the rooms. And hostel provides AC ,wifi , almirah, study table, bed , mattress, chair ,etc. I don't live in hostel so I don't have any room in hostel.

Exam Structure

There's other way to take admission in my college if the seats left through registration process. The exam most preferred by the students for MBA course is either CAT or CUET in which more the 90+ and 80+ percent is much respectively. The admission process includes counselling sessions, exams . The application process starts from last of July and starting of August and end my the mid of September maximum.

The course curriculum is quite easy, not so difficult. It was prescribed by SCERT itself. Yes students do fail in the exams if not secured minimum marks. Good aspects of this course are you gain knowledge, skills, confidence to speak, participate in various activities and social interaction too. It also provide hand on experience by giving 30-35 days training in school. The bas aspect is, it is also based on the the old school education system to give exams which I personally don't like and u have to submit various files of all subjects. Although it is a good practise to gain the experience but it is somewhat burdensome. There are 3 exams conducted in a year-2 internals and 1 term end with 10 subjects each. 8 classes take place usually in a day with 45-50 minutes each. As such no free time is given except lunch break which is of 20-25 minutes. Every teacher has its own methodology to teach. Some use lecture method, some uses discussion method and some uses demonstration method according to the topic and subject. I personally admire all the faculties as they do work wholeheartedly to teach us. All the teachers are best according to my opinion. Yes there is a mandatory attendance rule. You have to maintain atleast 75 percent attendance in a year to qualify for the exams. If you don't fulfil the criteria, then you have to come to colleges in preparatory leaves to complete the attendance. Yes I have seen students coming to college because of short of attendance. And regularly or monthly, students were given short of attendance forms to get it signed by parents and they have to secure the 75 percent criteria of attendance.

Final placement starts in November and goes upto February. Most of the batch gets placed . For the ones which don't get placed college tries to help them out with references through alumni. Average CTC was 17.35 LPA last year, median was 16LPA. BFSI and IT/ITES are the most preferred. Placement committee helps the students in getting placed and they try to keep the process as transparent as possible. The faculty advisor for the placements also helps in the same.

Placement Experience:

Final placements usually start around January. It takes about 2 weeks for the process to finish. Placements are 100% every year. CTC can range from 17LPA, with an average of 30LPA to 65L domestic and 1.3Cr in international offers. Placement process is transparent as most of it is conducted by students themselves and the placement committee works hard to ensure every student is placed.
