Brand Wars have been a dated quite long back in the marketing world. Each product is in the race to prove itself as the best and superior to another.
With apple releasing new iPhones, the rivals are planning how to have an edge. Starting with Xiomi launching offer bundles using ‘XS’, ‘XS Max’ and ‘XR’, followed by Huawei that just added to the fun. The Chinese firm thanked Apple for keeping things the ‘same’ along with distributing free power banks to people in queue to get their hands on new iPhones (Ouch! Burn!)
Samsung surely not amongst the ones to be left behind also joined the bandwagon. It took an indirect dig at Apple through its new video where Samsung executives visit a place called ‘Appel’ and distribute their smartphones.
The smartphone firm has rolled out series of Samsung S9 ads that hits apple directly. The new ads have exactly zero footage of Samsung S9. Instead, it has concocted an exact apple store where apple executives give bizarre replies to iPhone related queries.
If this is not war then what is? The ads rolled out gives an unswerving idea of how S9 stands better than newly launched Apple series.
This is apparently not the first time Samsung has taken a dig over Apple, history is proof of these tech rivals indulged in brand wars every now and then.
The only disturbing element in these ads is Samsung has shifted its focus in displaying negative features of Apple instead of promoting itself. We were quiet restless to get a look of Samsung S9. What we wonder is, how does even the ads attract loyal iPhone users towards Samsung.
Anyway, the whole crux of these advertisements is that Galaxy S9 is integrated with a headphone jack, good quality camera and the most important aspect, it also has fast wireless charging.
