BITS Pilani Dubai offers an ME in Microelectronics program for a duration of 2 years.
It is a full-time course.
The M.E. Microelectronics program primarily covers the broad areas namely Modeling of Microelectronic Devices, IC Fabrication Technology, VLSI Architecture and Design, CAD tools for Analog and Digital IC Design in addition to discipline-based elective courses in emerging & advanced areas.
Microelectronics is a field related to the study and microfabrication of electronic components which help to miniaturize the size of electronic circuits and systems made from semiconductors.
The M.E. Microelectronics program aims at offering courses that provide the necessary skill set required by a microelectronics design engineer to find ways to compensate for or to minimize these effects, while always delivering smaller, faster, and cheaper devices in line with the current technological developments.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

The student must have an xII class mark sheet with the affiliated board but no specific cutoff is mentioned.
Applicants must hold a degree such as B.E. / B.Tech. in EEE/E&I/ECE/CS or M.Sc. Physics or it's equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate.
IELTS exam accepted but not mandatory.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
