We keep a planned approach towards the students as every student is different
At the University of Exeter, we have a planned approach to student recruitment. We believe that every student is different and hence we have a very customized approach towards each student. In terms of strategy, we perform data analysis to understand our market segment, which helps to identify market potential, and accordingly, we map our key programs and cities. For example, MSc in Data science is very popular in Bengaluru. Thus, we try to maximize our reach with schools and colleges, faculty lectures, webinars for the counselors, etc. At the same time, we always explore and create awareness in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by visiting schools/colleges, education fairs, etc.
