The rank of the University, the course structure and the location.

Course Curriculum

9

The course curriculum was great as it provided us with the opportunity to work on live consultancy projects with clients based internationally. The curriculum was not very hectic and allowed us to specialise in the fields that we found most interesting (finance, marketing, etc.)

Exams

Admission requirements include a transcript or an interim transcript of your current / latest educational qualification. The University of Edinburgh is very highly ranked and required competitive scores to get in. With the transcripts and a strong Statement of Purpose you can secure a conditional seat which will be rendered unconditional upon receival of a proper degree certificate / course completion letter. The University also requires an IELTS score of at least 7.5/9.

Placement

8

The opportunities are good, even internationally. Most of my peers are working as consultants all over the globe and a few are pursuing their PhDs.

Events

All of the facilities are great. Clear wifi, latest electronics in terms of computers, accessible hub rooms for group projects, accessible cafes and other resources. The university has a lot of extra curricular clubs to be associated. There are many sports related clubs and cultural clubs to choose from. A list of these clubs is made available to all students online.

Faculty

9

The faculty is highly educated and are all PhDs or Post Doctorates in their respective fields with years of experience in the industry as well as academics. They were all very approachable and provided invaluable feedback and insights to every student.

Hostel

I was staying in a private student accommodation. It was a fully furnished studio with a private kitchen and a private bathroom. The studio accommodated 2 and I was living with my friend from India. The cost of the room was 215 GBP per week. the accommodation had a student lounge with many facilities, a laundry room, a cinema hall and a gym.
