I chose this university due to the range of opportunities offered. This is evident through the third year modules such as the law clinic. It allows you to gain practical experience which makes you more employable. The university offers a range of opportunities such as the street law programme and volunteering in the law clinic prior to taking a third-year module. It aims to enhance your employability.

Course Curriculum

8

The course curriculum offers a wide range of options for the third year. The curriculum aims to give you employability skills. Some modules require presentation and negotiation exercises. This is an extremely useful experience to have.

Exams

I took A-Levels to get into university. I have taken my contract, criminal, public law and law and social justice exam. I am currently achieving a first overall.

Fees

The fees were 9250 a year. I had to live on campus for first-year which was $158 a week for a double bed and shared kitchen and en suite. This was for self-catered. It required a deposit of $150. This year I moved into a house which charges $90 a week with a $200 deposit.

Examination Structure

The exam structure is helpful. Rather than requiring you to take all exams in the summer, it is spread through January and summer. It offers a range of ways to be assessed. From unseen exams to presentations and everything in between. It is far more useful.

Faculty

8

The faculty are all expert within their areas. They are focused on research within their areas and are all up to date with the most recent changes within the law. This is true for changes that have just recently happened. They are also aware of possible future changes so you get a real understanding of what may happen in the future.
