Since 2015 Liverpool became UNESCO Music City, and as a Music student, I decided to sign for my course here. It is also one of the best Universities in the world. I tried to inform about it more and everything so far was true.
Course Curriculum
It gives space for students to express their opinions and develop critical thinking, teaches how to write and understand certain philosophical meanings, also performs musical practice and performance and its own understanding.
Exams
IELTS, graduation exam score, graduation solo concert, two years of Academy of Music (differs in my home country).
Fees
University course programme costs 9250 pounds per year for music students. University provides 10 classes with the professor, other than that needs to be paid.
Examination Structure
It depends on a certain module. For each of them, there is one essay per semester for the first assignment with CCA 2000 words (1st year) and for the second one is either the unseen written exam or another essay and performance of course.
Faculty
I am really satisfied so far, it is exactly what I was expecting. Except the course itself, offers students various out of lecture activities and wants them to connect together.
Hostel
I am situated in a student house 20 min walk away from Uni. The only weakness is the location, but next year I managed to live behind Uni. It is affordable, safe, close to the Uni and city centre.
