The program I have selected i.e., Data Science and Analytics had a wide range of subjects to choose from. I had the freedom to choose majority of the subjects I want to study. I also wanted to be a Data Scientist, so I chose this program. I have always been fascinated by the vast amount of data and Data Science and Analysis intrigued me.
Course Curriculum
The course is very relevant to Data Science jobs currently available. Also there is freedom to select the modules, so a student interested in research can study different modules while a student interested in working as a data scientist can choose a whole different set of modules.

Scholarship
I received the Head of School International Excellence Scholarship which is a fee reduction of 2000 pounds. It is automatically awarded to international students who achieve the equivalent of a UK first class bachelor degree
Faculty
The faculty is extremely supportive and are quite experienced. Although there is limited face to face time due to the pandemic, the faculty have tried their best to incorporate some in-person teaching.
Campus Life
There are over 300 clubs and societies in the Leeds University Union. There are manny events happening almost everyday. There are huge libraries all throughout the University campus with lots of books. Books are available online through library website as well. The University campus has WiFi available everywhere. The sports and gym facilities are available through Edge membership.
Hostel
I chose to live in a private accommodation instead of student accommodation to reduce my expense. Including bills, my monthly expense is almost 400 pounds. There are different student accommodations throughout the city, which have a higher rent. Most of the student accommodations have a monthly rent of 480-600 pounds.
